My journey into health and food was shaped by a series of personal and professional experiences that led me to question the conventional approach to wellness. While working as a federal contractor during the COVID era, I made the difficult decision to step away from that career path, which ultimately opened the door for me to pursue something more aligned with my values.
With the support of my community, I enrolled in the Park City Culinary Institute—an experience that became one of the most meaningful chapters of my adult life. There, I developed a deep appreciation for the craft of cooking and the power of high-quality, thoughtfully prepared food.
My interest in health began earlier during my time in the military, when I was prescribed medication for high cholesterol and experienced adverse side effects. That moment led me to take greater ownership of my health and begin studying nutrition, food systems, and the role of diet in long-term wellness. I’ve since come to believe that real, nutrient-dense food plays a foundational role in supporting the body, and I’m passionate about helping others reconnect with that understanding.
